Since I am leaving for Wiscon tomorrow, today has been the Morning of Buying Trip Snacks. So now I have granola bars and goldfish crackers and dried squid. The latter I've wanted to try for a while and I thought, "Well, I will need something protein-based," so I bought it. You guys, squid jerky is delicious. I am so amazingly pleased.

I also bought gum for the first time in years. Airplane trips - the only time I chew gum.

And a Thor PEZ dispenser. Action figures are exciting, certainly, but I'm always thrilled when there's some sort of big geeky movie and it gets tie-in PEZ dispensers. He is very comics-verse and has the big silly winged hat and I'm very pleased to own him.

Today, I checked in a children's dvd entitled "Taking the 'Duh' out of Divorce."

I stared at it for about a minute, trying to figure out what the hell that meant, until I realized that the title is a play on words that really doesn't work if (like me) you tend to say "dih-vorce."

I feel like it shouldn't have taken me that long to figure out.
