Today, I have been cleaning. Know what that means? For one thing, it means that I vacuumed for the first time in an embarrassingly long length of time. And for another, it means an excuse to rotate the PEZ displays!

Also, on a completely different note, how did I not know that you can get US President PEZ dispensers?

There is a PEZ dispenser of Millard Fillmore, you guys. And that is maybe the best sentence I have ever typed.

OMG, I want all of them.

Things I found in my closet:

- A stuff paper rainbow fish that my sister made in elementary school. She is entering grad school this year.

- A fairly grippable stick that I had sharpened for no reason I recall.

- A toy dagger that I remember spending several days carefully constructing out of popsicle sticks as a child. I almost don't want to throw it away. What if I need a popsicle stick dagger someday?

- About 25 PEZ dispensers. It's possible that my PEZ collection is a little out of hand. Maybe I should put a shelf in the new room to display them all.

Since I am leaving for Wiscon tomorrow, today has been the Morning of Buying Trip Snacks. So now I have granola bars and goldfish crackers and dried squid. The latter I've wanted to try for a while and I thought, "Well, I will need something protein-based," so I bought it. You guys, squid jerky is delicious. I am so amazingly pleased.

I also bought gum for the first time in years. Airplane trips - the only time I chew gum.

And a Thor PEZ dispenser. Action figures are exciting, certainly, but I'm always thrilled when there's some sort of big geeky movie and it gets tie-in PEZ dispensers. He is very comics-verse and has the big silly winged hat and I'm very pleased to own him.
