Just had a patron ask me if I was done with high school.

Lady, in just over two months, I will officially be too old for Archie Goodwin to date. Yes, I am done with high school.

I was in Home Depot a couple weeks ago, looking at bathroom vanities, and a contractor guy asked if I was headed off to college. I totally squinted at him.

I'm trying now to decide if this was better or worse than when I actually was in high school and people kept asking a) how old my (completely non-existent) kids were or b) if I was married to my father.
