- There are a lot of noisy people in the library today. Noisy people who who can't figure out how to log on to the computer and then, once they have managed to get on, want to tell me way too much about the results they're getting from dating websites. And of course, noisy irritating people have as much right to be in the library as anyone else but today, they are annoying the hell out of me.
- Which is probably not helped by the fact that I'm having the kind of day where I'm not good at people. I didn't sleep well last night, mostly due to the dog, and today I would kinda like everyone to shut up and go away.
- One of the noisy people is reading a book about sea creatures to her equally noisy son and having a noisy conversation about being eaten by squids. Irritating, but kinda funny.
- The mattress I ordered has arrived at the store. I'm really tempted to go and pick it and the bed (and maybe sheets) up tonight after work. I can't set the bed up yet, as I still have to finish the requisite cleaning and moving the old bed out of the way, but the fact of having the new bed would be exciting.
- I got tea in the mail yesterday, from here and it is pretty awesome. Thus far, I am heartily recommending the site and their tea. I would especially recommend the white cucumber. I wish I had some right now - the act of drinking tea is generally a calming and centering one for me.
- Lady, not only do we not have the capability to take your debit card to pay for your printouts but seriously, would you really want us to for 30 cents? Really?
My day, thus far.
