Today in dorky things I have done:
I may have crocheted myself a cuddly stuffed Cthulhu.

Here he is, chilling on my desk with Tony Stark and Jack Griffin. Ia, ia, and all that.
And I put his head on straight! The secret is to attach the head to the torso first, before any of the other limbs. Thus, the head is automatically on straight! And you are all saying, "Of course", but man, it took a stupidly long time for me to realize that. Because normally, when I make crocheted dolls, I do the head last.
And, in non-dorky things that I have done, here are the gloves I made for my
help_haiti auction. They were won by
gossymer and are currently traveling to her as we speak. I'm pretty proud of them, so I'm showing them off.

Man, I love doing colorwork.
And those are my crafty things of late.
