darchildre: the master reading war of the worlds (reading)
I am trying to decide what to read next and would like some help.

I have been between books for a bit and am being picky and indecisive. I have narrowed down what I think I want, genre-wise, to "ridiculous horror/mystery/pulp/Gothic nonsense" and have a few books that have been on my to-read list for a while, but I can't decide. Thus, a poll!

darchildre: the master reading war of the worlds (reading)
My coworker was talking about lilacs this morning, which led to me attempting to explain the Glorious 25th of May. I quoted the bit about Truth, Justice, Freedom, Reasonably Priced Love, and a Hardboiled Egg and she looked at me, amazed, and asked me how I remember things like that. I told her that I'd read the book several times and listened to the audiobook even more times and she boggled at me again and told me that she doesn't reread books. Which was my turn to boggle, because what? I don't even buy books unless I've already read them and loved them. What is the point of buying books if you don't plan to read them again?

I don't know how common either of our ways of doing things is, though, so I figured I would do a poll.

So, my robot is finished. And the gods know I have enough crafty projects to be getting on with. But I really like making weird stuffed cuddly things. So I come to you for advice. These are all weird stuffed things that I have had the urge to make over the past week or so. I don't have patterns for any of them and some of them would involve things that I have no idea how to accomplish, but I'd certainly try. What do you think?

So. My bag - the bag that I keep all my stuff in and take everywhere with me - is wearing out. The lining is all torn up and there are holes forming in a couple places. This is quite sad but an end comes to all things in time, so the thing to do now is find a new one.

Which I would like you to help me with. By filling out this poll:
