Apr. 20th, 2021 08:11 amOne problem with solo rpgs that I did not anticipate is that I have to create my own antagonists and obviously, I want them to be cool and interesting - I'm making up this story solely for myself, why would I include characters I don't enjoy? But, as I am a person who has historically been extremely drawn to villainous characters, every time I make an antagonist for an arc, I'm immediately overwhelmed with a wave of "oh no, they're so cool, I love them," and it becomes difficult to play against them, as it were.
I have so far coped by making the coolest of them a recurring antagonist, but that only works so many times.
