So, because I have that Christmas wool to look forward to, I'm trying to finish some of my in-progress spinning projects in order to free up more of my spindles. As part of that effort, I've gotten out some very pretty red and brown fiber that I spun a quarter of over a year ago. After spinning the quarter, I promptly knit some gloves and then put the rest of the fiber away unspun.

I was using my Portuguese spindle for that fiber and, because it was assigned to a project, I haven't spun with that spindle in over a year either. But now I'm using it again and you guys, I love this spindle very much. So now I definitely have to finish the current wool so that this spindle can have Christmas wool spun on it.
