I feel like two Days of Nameless Dread in a row is unacceptable and should not be allowed.

Would anyone like to distract me from my reasonless anxiety with Interesting Facts?

You've never looked at any part of your head (save for the tip of your nose, and very awkwardly at that) without any medium to assist. Your eyes have never cast themselves nakedly upon any part of your head (except for the nose thing).

Your toes have touched a lot of things in this world, but they will (hopefully) never ever touch their respective ankle.

No one can say for certain what the colour of anything is at anytime.

We think of the world of being full of vast open spaces, but in reality, from the thermosphere down, we live in a world packed with molecules (and ergo matter) between everything.

Good luck with the bounce back. Personally, I have bouts of extreme productivity following "Days of Nameless Dread" (usually because there are so many things left undone over said days). But a positive none-the-less.

I used to know a whole bunch of inane stuff but these days, those fact slots are all taken up by fandom (at hte moment wondering what a "growing up in the institute" in Shadowhunters really means) and work (the new portable long service leave scheme is paid in at a set percentage of wages, but will be repaid to us as a percentage of what we actually pay the employees, based on their time in the scheme) and neither of those woudl distract anyone but me.

I usually know random interesting facts, except of course when someone asks for them, so I'll be lazy and just link to my favorite "tiny piece of history" Tumblr post I saw today, this one about Burnum Burnum claiming England on behalf of the Australian Aboriginal people.

Shakespeare was super into neologisms, and the ones he made were really popular, so much so that we think of them as just everyday parts of the language.
