So the yarn I'm currently working on is (meant to be, probably going to be, I'm trying my best) a worsted weight yarn, which means that the singles feel extremely thick and it's weird. I mean, it's good, I'm learning new techniques and all, but everything I've spun for the past year has been aiming at a fingering weight and I keep having to readjust how I think about what I'm doing. It's weird having to worry about "is this thick enough?" instead of "oh no, I've spun this too thick!"
On the plus side, it means that everything spins up super fast and I haven't had to worry about pulling something too hard and snapping my singles because this yarn is too thick to easily break.
