Behold! The last 214 yards of the yarn I've been spinning since January!

This is the last of eight skeins - I have a total of (approximately) 1714 yards of fingering weight yarn. I have to wash the last skein and wind it into a ball and then I can start knitting a sweater with it!
During this project, I have learned:
- It is entirely possible for me to spin and ply ~200 yards of yarn in a weekend, but if I try to do it in a single day, my shoulders and back will hate me for a while.
- OMG, ply balls. I'm so happy I found out about ply balls.
- How to spin (reasonably) consistently with the help of a control card. I'm pretty sure I could now spin an 18 wpi 2-ply yarn in my sleep.
- I don't know why my body hates me less if I spin with supportive shoes on - I'm sitting down! It shouldn't matter! - but it definitely does.
- The first spindle I bought myself (after my training wheels boat anchor student spindle) is still my favorite. I have other spindles now and I like all of them but my Snyder Spindles' Gear remains the absolute best. I'm so glad I used it for this project.
- Spinning enough yarn to make a sweater is not only not an insurmountable task - it didn't even take as long as I anticipated. I was sure I'd be working on this till the end of the summer at least! Now I might get to wear this sweater by the time the weather turns!
I have spun a pound of wool and nearly a mile of yarn, you guys! Yay!
