Consistently Grumpy Patron: Can you tell me where the dvd of 30 Rock are? What branches they're at?

Me: Sure. ::does a search:: Okay, it looks like we have six seasons of that - did you have a particular one you wanted to look for?

CGP: Well, I would think season one would be the logical place to start, don't you?



Lady, how am I supposed to know that you haven't already watched some of the show? You will note that I left my black gloves at home, so I cannot read your mind. I certainly apologize for asking clarifying questions so as to actually get you the thing you want.

And then, because sometimes it seems like all I do is complain about my patrons, I just had a lovely conversation with a woman who is watching through Star Trek: TOS for the first time and has just finished Trouble with Tribbles. She was so adorable and enthusiastic! And so excited about tribbles!

So sometimes library patron are lovely. 8)
