Nov. 2nd, 2010 04:49 pmThings:
- Did not die or get lost on Halloween and, in fact, had quite a good time. There were fire-dancers and fun music and a communal Samhain altar, which was nifty because I am very rarely in explicitly pagan-friendly spaces (even if Samhain isn't really my holiday).
- Also, on the bus going back to Megan and Katie's apartment Halloween night, I was asked if I was a time traveler. Since I was dressed as...well, as me but more so (pinstriped pants, jacket, vest, tie, fedora), it was pretty much my favorite thing I've been asked in a very long time.
- So far today, no one has come in to ask us a) where to get a ballot or b) where to go to vote. There's time yet, of course, but I'm taking it as a good sign.
- ::crosses fingers that the library levy passes::
- I got my yarn for my new crochet project yesterday. It is gorgeous and I am so excited!
