Scene from the library:
Patron, seated at the computer: Can I ask you a question?
I walk over and look at the screen. She has the browser open to the library catalog and has typed "hotmail.com" into the catalog search.
Patron: Why won't this take me to my email?
Two minutes after this, I had one of those patrons who deliberately stands at the desk that I am not working at, card in hand, saying nothing, until I notice they are there and walk over to them to check them out at a computer that I am not logged on to.
I am going to go hide in a corner, okay?

I've heard of people googling hotmail (and even google) but I've never heard of someone try a catalogue search for it. :P

I don't understand the people who stand at the other queue, even with nobody in the one queue that has an actual person. It boggles.
