Dear Patron,

You know what's not appropriate?

1) Your son calmly walking behind my counter and sitting at one of our computer chairs without you so much as saying a word.

2) When I shoo him out with my usual "You can't come back here unless you have a job here," telling your son "And it's really not worth it - they don't pay nearly enough."

Pretty much none of that is acceptable behavior. I don't come into your workplace and insult you. I'll thank you to do the same, especially while I'm waiting on you.

Right idea, wrong conclusion, patron. They don't pay us enough - which means support us more, not let your children invade and then demean our profession because of the pay scale it has.
