Hey, look - I finished my gloves:

Not too shabby for a first attempt, I think. Now, because I am nothing if not overly confident in my own yarn crafting abilities, I am going to make these. And oh gosh, the needles are tiny. Which is kinda fun but also a little disconcerting, because I bought bamboo needles this time (I had a coupon and wanted to try them out) and it feels a little like knitting with very long toothpicks. I keep worrying that they'll break.
(Eventually, the obsession will fade somewhat and I'll stop posting quite so much about knitting. That day is not today, however.)
