Dec. 2nd, 2010 01:16 pmThe thing about taking a break from swap-bot in the autumn and then coming back in December to look for swaps that look like fun is that 95% of the swaps posted in December are Christmas related. (The other 5% are the standard letter/postcard/teabag swaps that are pretty much a swap-bot constant. Z-Day would come and swap-bot would be full of zombies mailing postcards. Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Now, I like Christmas but I have very little interest in making Christmas-related craft things and none at all in receiving them.
So now I am trying to decide whether or not I want to host a swap, just so that I can do one that wouldn't be Christmas related. I've hosted swaps before that have worked out really well, and maybe there are other people out there who don't want to do Christmas crafts right now. However, I am sort of stuck for ideas.
I could do cuddly robots again. Everyone loves cuddly robots. Or cuddly monsters. Hmm.
