Just now had a patron print a document and then bring it up to the counter with a problem.

It had printed with everything she had typed except the v's. All the v's had been left blank.

I have no explanation for that at all.

It is certainly the weirdest thing that's happened near me in at least a month.

I suspect that the patron's text is in a font that is not supported by the printer. If the patron changes the font to something common, such a Veranda, and then sends it to the printer, I expect the v's will be visible.
