Dear random passerby,

I am more than happy to help you get directions to Hurricane Ridge because this is a library and that's what we do. However, I will admit to finding myself a little taken aback by the fact that you keep saying that you thought there would be more signs to it as you got off the Kingston ferry.

I mean, you're aware that Hurricane Ridge is part of the Olympic National Park and that the Olympic National Park is basically in Forks, right? And that Forks is something like an hour away? It's not even in this county, for gods' sake. Why would we have signs to it?

Just last week a couple in a car stopped me and asked me how to get to Berlin. Before I could really think about it I blurted "Drive south for two hours."
I *did* give them some more direction after that, but honestly.
