darchildreIt is getting on autumn, when a young girl's fancy turns to thoughts of sock making.
Yes, I bought sock yarn today. No, I do not need any more sock yarn, because I have a basket full of various kinds of yarn and much of it is appropriate for socks. I bought it anyway. I have spent the last several hours making half a sock and remembering how much I like making socks. I had meant to save the new sock yarn for my trip to Portland next month (socks are perfect travel projects) but it was too pretty and I didn't. I may have to buy more for the trip. Or go through my basket.
Yay, socks! Now, to wait till it gets cool enough to actually wear wool socks again.
