One of my coworkers overheard me talking to a patron and told me that I am admirably clear and concise when dealing with the public.

I think that I will just accept the compliment, rather than admitting that the reason I am clear and concise when dealing with the public is that my goal in any conversation with people I don't know (and some with people I do) is to make the conversation end as quickly as possible.

I am, quite obviously, not really like that, myself. But I still try to be clear and concise. Oh well. :) I enjoyed reading this post, I must admit. :)

I mean, I try to be clear and concise anyway. But a lot of it is due to my crippling shyness. 8)
