- Still sick. Congested today, which is probably good as it means that things are moving along nicely, but I also feel run down and lightheaded, which is not so much fun. Ah, well. Hopefully I'll have my voice back by Sunday for church.
- Had a little old man knock on the door this morning and ask me if I was a Bible reader. Hoping to hurry him along, I told him that yes, I am. (Which is true, after all. I have at least three Bibles in my room right now, two of which I acquired of my own free will after deciding I was not a Christian. The Bible is interesting, for one thing, and for another, having a Bible on your nightstand is often invaluable to the horror fan.) Alas, he then started talking about Paul and the End of Days and I told him that I had to go and get ready for work.
- Sometimes, I have really ridiculous crochet project ideas. Like, okay, last night I gave into a desire that I've had for a while and started crocheting a cephalopod. Because cephalopods are neat and everyone needs cuddly cuttlefish and squids and octopodes, right? Of course. And then I went browsing on etsy for things with crocheted tentacles and found this. Now, I don't wear scarves, so much, so I wouldn't want to make exactly that but I do find myself thinking "Well, maybe I could make some kind of fingerless gloves with suckers on the palms and undersides of the arms?" Which is insane. Seriously, that is not a thing I should do. I am incredibly tempted, though.
