darchildreThings with my sisters did improve somewhat after my last post (which is now private, as I always feel weird about too much ranting about family stuff) and we managed to have a relatively nice afternoon/evening. Exhausting, but not infuriating.
Today, I have been very tired all day but in a slightly better mood, so I decided to finally get started on getting blackout curtains for my bedroom. I figured I'd go to Target, not find what I needed but at least be able to buy a curtain rod, and then order the actual curtains online. But instead, they had the curtains I wanted in stock! And now they are installed and my room is so dark.
It won't fix everything, but it will at least give me a more pleasant refuge when it's very bright out. Plus it means that I won't have to deal with intensely bright light in the mornings anymore - my window faces east and it's a nightmare during the summer.
I'm extremely happy with my new curtains.
