darchildreA thing I really appreciate about late 70's/early 80's sci-fi tv is that all of it assures the viewer that yes, the future is absolutely going to suck beyond the telling of it and also you're probably going to have to wear a one-piece jumpsuit, but! There will at least be capes.
(Hello, yes, I watched three more episodes of Armored Trooper Votoms this evening and also an episode of Armor Hunter Mellowlink. There were several capes per episode. It was great.)
