It rained yesterday, hard enough that I could hear it inside, and this morning it is actually cold and I am wearing my favorite wool cardigan and a shawl to work. (It's going to get too warm for both of them as the day progresses but that's fine - that's what layering's for.)

It is September 1st and it feels like autumn and you guys, I'm so happy.
