This weekend has, alas, been the opposite of restful, as my brain has declared that all human contact is currently completely intolerable. I am extremely grumpy and it is not my parents' fault - they aren't actually relentless irritating people, they just seem that way right now and I can't escape them at present. But god, right now everything they say annoys me and the sheer fact of their presence and the noises they make is like a fork scraping over the surface of my brain.

I would like to lay very still under an extremely heavy blanket for several hours during which no one is allowed to speak or come within 100 yards of me.
