I haven't sent any Postcrossing postcards in a couple months, so I requested some addresses today.

One of the things I love about Postcrossing is that people will list the weirdest little hobbies in their profiles - just small, charming things that they love to do or collect that it would never have occurred to me that someone would be into, and I get to learn about them and it's great.

Today, I am sending a postcard to a 16 year old girl in Russia who collects sugar packets. That's amazing and people are great.

I had tried to get myself to 100 postcards sent by the end of last year, but only got to 68. It is a lot of fun to read someone's list of likes and try to find a card in my collection to suit them.

I am at about 54 postcards sent - trying to get to 100 by the end of 2020 sounds like an excellent goal.

My favorite Postcrossing profile ever was a teenage boy to Bulgaria who had written in all caps "DRAW PLEASE CACTUS ON CARDS". I hope he has received many cactus cards.
