darchildreI woke up to find that a tentative schedule has been posted for this year's HPLFF and you guys, I'm so fucking excited. The Haunted Palace on a big screen! That guy who pretends to be M R James and tells you M R James stories! The new Color* Out of Space with Nicholas Cage which might be dreadful but I'm still excited about it!
And! They're showing The Tingler and that's already great because I love The Tingler immensely, just watching it in my house, but according to the website, they're doing the whole William Castle Percepto thing with the specially wired seats! So now I have to carefully observe the seats in that theater to see if I can figure out which ones they are and snag one.
Last year's festival was...something of a disappointment, as many of the films were not to my taste, but this year's Vincent-Price-and-Roger-Corman focus is precisely up my alley.
*Did I just go check the spelling on this to make sure it wasn't "colour"? Yes. Yes, I did.
