darchildre: ninth doctor and rose viewing earth from space (...and i feel fine)

Good things about today:

- I've started catching up on the last few episodes of TAZ: Amnesty and they're delightful. Every time I take a break from Amnesty, I forget how much I enjoy it until I start listening again.

- I am wearing a dress with dinosaurs on it, which is obviously the greatest possible garment. (Well, no - the greatest possible garment would be some kind of voluminous necromancer-style robe with dinosaurs on it. But this is pretty close.)

- Katie and I are going to PodCon in Seattle this coming weekend, so I have spent part of today deciding which bits of it I most want to attend and I am excited.

Any day is good when you can say you're wearing something covered in dinosaurs.

Dinosaur dress! Sounds great.

I've found that I like Amnesty most when I'm binge-listening to it. Are they currently in the middle of an arc?

I keep having mixed feelings about if I should listen to Amnesty; I enjoyed Balance, but I also listened to it mostly because most of my gaming friends did. I'm glad you're having fun with it!

Dinosaur dress sounds awesome! :D

PodCon sounds very cool; my twin went last year and had a wonderful time. I look forward to you having a great time this year, and hearing about what you do!

The overwhelming emphasis on humour in Balance actually made it really hard for me to get into it -- I liked the ending parts best, because that's when they really doubled down on character as the important thing (The Suffering Game was very cool, even though it was hard!) -- so Amnesty sound like it's probably more my thing than Balance in that regard, even if I tend to like things set in the real world a little less than things in fantasy/sci-fi ones. I'm not surprised it's a good show for bingeing, either; I felt the same about Balance.

That does sound like the greatest possible garment. I have been eyeing a dress with a glow-in-the-dark jellyfish on it myself, but reviews suggest the fabric clings, and I do not currently have the wherewithal to look at adding in a lining.

I hope you have a great time at the con.

Also I want to say that your "three good things" approach has been really awesome to read. Am considering trying something like it m'self.
