While I am happy to put a hold on whatever you'd like, the fact that you asked for 2001: A Space Odyssey as a book* by Stanley Kubricks leads me to believe that you are probably not going to enjoy it when you finally get it.
Also, you are literally over 90 years old - how have you missed hearing about either 2001 as a film or Kubrick as a director?
*Before anyone jumps on me, yes, 2001 is a book, but by Arthur C Clarke. Which is what this gentleman has on hold for him, since he did not want a film.
He also asked for Dawn of Man, also by Mr Kubricks which is a section in the film and not a book at all.
This hold is just not going to work out the way he wants, I think.
