Good things about today:

- I FINALLY SAW INTO THE SPIDERVERSE, OH MY GOD, IT WAS SO AMAZING, WHY DID WE EVER BOTHER TO MAKE LIVEACTION SUPERHERO MOVIES WHEN WE COULD HAVE BEEN MAKING THEM LIKE THIS, I GUESS I HAVE TO READ SOME SPIDER-MAN COMICS NOW.

- Ahem.

- Dad made carnitas for dinner and they were delicious and I get to eat them as leftovers all week while he is out of town on a business trip.

- I have a mini fountain pen that I use as an everyday pocket pen. Yesterday, I couldn't find it and assumed I had lost it at work somewhere, but no, it was just in my car. So now I have my pen back!

This is the ONLY comic-book movie EVER that has made a lot of people leave the theater wanting to read comics. I've seen it twice and still have only vaguely paid attention to the plot & characterization, because I just spend my time LOOKING.

Exactly! I immediately started to figure out when I can go see it again, just so I can pay more attention to the visuals rather than the plot.

Into The Spiderverse was amazing and brilliant and gorgeous! I loved it so, so much! I'm actually thinking of taking my dad to go see it, even. So, so good!!!

It was astoundingly good. Like, I had heard very positive reviews basically everywhere, but I was still not expecting it to be as good as it was.

Concurring on Into the Spiderverse. That was an absolute joy.

(Oooh, fountain pen! What kind? Is it a Kaweco? I hear a lot of people mentioning the Kaweco Sport when they're discussing everyday carry-around pens, but I haven't actually seen one.)

My pocket pen is a Wawncai mini. It's about the size of a tube of lipbalm with the cap on and it holds a surprising amount of ink.

I like my Kaweco Sport a lot, but I bought it with a broad nib and it bleeds more than some of my other pens, so I don't use it as a pocket pen.
