In an effort to get back to posting here, let me show you my latest spinning project!

Autumn Not Winter

I had the worst time ever plying it and it came out a little heavier than I'd like - I wanted a fingering weight and this is closer to a sport because I'm still not as good at controlling my spinning as I want to be - but I'm still pretty pleased with it. I'm calling it "Autumn, Not Winter", because I have been listening to a truly absurd amount of Friends at the Table and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Next up: spinning an actual fingering weight yarn on my new Portuguese spindle!

I can't see it. :( But yay for spinning! I want to learn how to do that.

YAY I CAN SEE IT AND ALSO HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT IS GORGEOUS.

I mean, seriously, that is basically my dream yarn right there. I want to knit it into a scarf (or blanket if there was tons more of it) like, yesterday. Do you by chance sell your yarn, because I will buy the crap out of it.

I totally get it, because if I could make yarn like that, there is NO WAY I would sell it. I would keep it all for meeeeee. But it is absolutely beautiful, beautiful yarn. If I ever do get into spinning, I might have to come to you for advice if you're willing to give it.
