- The mask mandate in Washington ended on Saturday, so today is my first day working while masks are no longer required. It's about 50/50 on whether or not patrons are still wearing them - I'm keeping mine on when I'm on the circ desk for now, but not when I'm in the back. It feels weird all around, really.
- Between being social on Saturday and the time change this weekend, I am exhausted today. And cranky about it. The fact that I woke up with a headache that won't go away isn't helping either.
- Next week, I'm on vacation and my parents are going away, and I'm very much looking forward to it. I'm going to eat noodles and do yarn crafts and watch anime and not talk to another human being for five whole days - it's going to be great.
- For the past several years, we have had leaf blowers in our parking lot every week on Tuesdays. They're usually there most of the day and the noise is annoying, but it's something that happens every week, so we're used to it. Except, they didn't come at all last week and this week, they came today. Now we're all confused because there was a time change and also the leaf blowing noise is happening on a day that isn't Tuesday, time is all out of joint.
