Dec. 30th, 2021 06:30 amMonday through Wednesday, our library snow days have been declared the night before. This was helpful, because it meant I could know in advance that I didn't have to do my work-morning routine and could just relax (and sleep in).
Last night, we got an email saying that, since it was supposed to snow more overnight, the folks in charge couldn't make a decision about conditions until this morning, and they'd send us another email with that decision by 7:30.
Now I am in suspense.
ETA - We are, indeed, closed today. We are also preemptively closed on Friday. Saturday is New Year's Day, so we're closed. I'm not scheduled to work on Monday, January 3rd.
I think this is the longest vacation I've ever had.
