It came out pretty well! The pattern led me to believe that it would take more yardage and thus have more of the grey at the end, but I like the way the colors ended up. You can't see it in this photo, but the edge also has wee tiny beads.
I've really enjoyed this project - knitting complicated things is fun, and lace is nice because you don't need extra tools, as you sometimes do with cabling. And I can always use more shawls.
I may start another one tomorrow, to be honest.
