I have been between stories of late, which is always a little irritating. Often, my ongoing mental story is based vaguely on whatever it is I'm currently really into, but I have no urgent fannish obsessions at the moment. So I decided to go looking for a sci-fi story idea generator to see if any of the premises offered sparked anything.

The first one I got was about telepathic pinnipeds attacking some sort of space station. I mean, it actually used the word "pinniped".
