Jan. 7th, 2012 09:56 pmWell, this afternoon, my computer decided to have a freak out. BSOD, an hour or so of trying to start up and not being able to, finally coming back up only for many things to not work. Totally awesome, especially since I had planned for a quiet peaceful day of Netflix and knitting.
After several hours of trying to fix things, I have decided that my best course of action is to back everything up to the giant backup hard drive and reset the thing to factory settings. Fortunately, it looks as though I'll be able to get everything off without losing anything (except all my playlists in iTunes, because apparently the library has been damaged in some way that I can't repair.)
This is not what I wanted to be doing today.
