All right, the bread dough is made and rising!
Today, I am making broa, which is a kind of Portuguese yeasted corn bread. Because a) I have not made it before and I love corn breads, and b) every heathen holiday is a good holiday on which to honor and remember one's ancestors. I'm using the Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day cookbook, so it's probably not terribly traditional broa, but broa it remains. I've halved the recipe from the book, so it should make one loaf today and one for later in the week, which is exciting.
And now I must go to the store in order to get things for the rest of today's crazy amount of cooking.
