And then, a lady who uses the library to get nerdy books and whom I've always thought was nice (and very cute) but never really had an opportunity to talk to asked me if I liked gaming because she's looking to get a geeky board game group together and wondered if I would be interested.

And on the one hand - yes, I would like to play board games with you, especially as you mention wanting to play Eldritch Horror, which I have wanted to try. That is super exciting!

And on the other hand - I am always really surprised when things like this happen, because of the social anxiety and all where I'm always halfway convinced that everyone I meet thinks I'm terrible. Cute nerdy library patrons do not think I'm terrible! Also super exciting!

Now to try not to sabotage myself by declining the actual invitation when it arrives!
