I think one of the (many) things that makes me enjoy this show more than Arrow (not that Arrow isn't fun) is that, because I am so familiar with the comics, I catch most of the weird little in-jokes and references. Not just the DC-universe-in-general ones (Kahndaq, Blackhawks), but the Flash-specific ones. By which I mean, hee, Dexter Myles! I may have clapped my hands a little in excitement.

Also! Yes, okay, this Captain Cold is entirely acceptable, I would like to order a dozen. The goggles are a nice update/translation and I am glad to see the goddamn stupid parka. (The problem with Rogues, though, is that I experience that weird divided loyalty that happens to people who love villains and other antagonists, where you find yourself simultaneously punching the air and going, "Oh no, don't shoot Barry!" It's a problem.) If anything comes of that little throwaway reference to his sister and Glider shows up on the show, I will literally scream.

God, I really enjoy this silly little show.
