The worst thing about summer in western Washington isn't that you're hot - it's that you're hot and you look at a thermometer or a weather report and it's only 84, so now not only do you feel like you're going to fall over from Sebacean heat delirium, but you also feel like a total wimp.

In other news, I currently hate everything.

I'm glad I haven't lost my Midwestern calibration, because I can be out there and go "Wow, it's hot." without losing my ability to function. My library regularly reminds people that all our locations are official emergency cooling stations when the weather gets like this.
