- The first day back to work after vacation is always weird. Especially on a day that isn't Monday - I keep sort of forgetting where I am in the week.
- Mom and I had a lovely time in Portland. (Their zoo has bats! So cool!) Alas, Mom hurt her back on our last day there, so we ended up coming home a little early. Still, it was a very good trip.
-james, I got the package and it is so lovely! Thanks very much!
- So, Mom and I have started watching Arrow and by "started" I mean that we are halfway through the second season. It is a bit silly, but a lot of fun and I enjoy having DC comics on my tv, even if it is only Oliver Queen. (I am so ridiculously excited about the Flash show starting in the fall, I cannot even tell you.)
- Also, my sister Katie has fallen crazy in love with Captain America, so I gave her vol 5 of the comics. And now we are trying to plan a time to get together and marathon Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, because apparently I evangelize best for comics via cartoon shows.
- I didn't get around to recording yesterday, so I'm afraid the next saga segment will have to wait a few more days. Sorry about that.
- I really want pie. Alas that there is no pie in the house.
