Today I have a meeting with the director of the library system. (She's doing this thing where she has one-on-one meetings with everyone who works for the library and today is my day.) We were going to meet in a coffee shop in Poulsbo, but things had to be rearranged somewhat, so instead we are meeting a little later in a cafe in Kingston, to which I have never been before.

I haven't quite started to panic yet, but I'm pretty sure that's going to happen soon.

(I mean, it's going to be fine - the absolute worst that can happen is that she goes away from the meeting thinking that I am nervous and awkward, which is true. And it can only last an hour. I can put up with anything for an hour. But still. There will probably be some panic.)

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

It is a good thing, and wasn't near as horrible as I anticipated. (Still nerve-wracking, though.)
