- It is my birthday! I am 31 years old today, which is a prime number. We did cheesecake and presents on Saturday (as people had to work today), but Mom and I were off so we went to Ikea to buy me a new mattress. And now I have a new mattress! It is ridiculously exciting.
- Also ridiculously exciting: what with taking my birthday off and the library being closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving, I only have to work two days this week. Hurrah!
- I am starting a new and ridiculous knitting project, because the gods know I need to make more dolls. But she is so pretty! And I am going to modify her head to make her look like a china doll of the Bride of Frankenstein, because of course I am. (There's also this pattern to go with it, so she can have clothes, which is also gorgeous. But I have to make the doll first.)
And that is the news for today.
