Things:
- So, the cheese took immensely longer than expected. It had to coagulate basically overnight before it became cheese, drain for several hours, and then get broiled for a while. Fortunately, Mom and Dad were willing to do that last bit, since I was out for much of yesterday. Next time I make cheese, I'll do it when I have no plans for a couple days and can just hang around at home.
- The reason I was out of the house was that I went to see one of the Nation Theatre Live screenings of Macbeth, with Kenneth Branaugh and Alex Kingston. Which was pretty great. It was in the Rose Theatre in Port Townsend, which is a lovely little theatre, and the show was awesome. Alex Kingston's Lady Macbeth was not quite what I would have wanted, but Mr Branaugh Macbeth was great and the guy playing Macduff was totally badass. I think there are still a few screenings to go, so if that seems like the kind of thing you would like, I wholly recommend it.
- Katie and I have been watching Supernatural with Mom, and just finished season one last night. Alas, I have to work today and then go to choir and won't be home till 10 tonight, so we'll have to wait to start season two.
- Halloween is this week! I don't have any big plans, but I do have the day off (and the day after) so that's something to look forward to.
