Staff meeting is over and was not as bad as anticipated. The chicken was a big hit, which was nice, and I got a set of candle holders that I actually quite like. I'm thinking of putting them on my altar as Yule decorations.
After the meeting, I got to drive home to feed the dog and take him out and then rush back to work. Now I am at work till 5, and then I get to do the rush-home-for-the-dog thing again before heading to my dress rehearsal for my concert. Tomorrow, I have to go to the doctor for bloodwork at 8 in the morning, and then work. Saturday, work and concert part 1. Also my grandmother arrives on Saturday. And Sunday is concert part 2, to which my family is coming and also several of my coworkers.
Once this week is over, things are going to calm down, thank the gods. Because right now, with all of this and with other random family things that I haven't mentioned, I just feel really stressed out. Taking yesterday off helped a little but not much, alas. I've kinda felt on the edge of crying all morning.
But after Sunday, things are going to improve. And the end of Sunday is only three and a half days away.
::deep breaths::
