darchildreYesterday, all my flights went well but were incredibly long. But I got to the hotel at long last, checked in, and got registered for the con just in time for opening ceremonies. After which, I went to the vid show.
Which was awesome - I wanted to go last year, but didn't want to have to walk back to my hotel (not the con hotel) in the dark, so I'm really glad I got to go this year. However, I stayed till about midnight and had been up at 5 yesterday morning. Thus, this morning, since there are no morning panels I desperately want to go to, I am being lazy and having a lie-in. I have breakfast and my computer, there are occasional rolls of thunder from outside, I have nothing I have to do until I want to do it and no one I have to talk to unless I want to.
Thus far, this is pretty much the perfect vacation.c
