Three things (tangentially) about Discworld audiobooks:

- Recently, I did that thing that I do every once in a while, where I listened to Going Postal and Making Money back to back over a matter of days. The thing that always happens when I do that is that I am filled with the urge to immediately do it again, because you guys, I love Moist von Lipwig and Adora Belle Dearheart so much. I want so many stories about the two of them having adventures and bantering at each other and kissing. Alas, there is not that much fanfiction and only two books.

- But listening to them again is silly and I still want more Discworld, so I have started on Thud instead. And, okay. The thing about Thud is that I had an audiobook copy and then I lost part of it, so I downloaded it again. And I would be willing to swear that the second copy is different. Not in the text - just in the way the reader says certain phrases. I mean, it's the same guy. Surely there wouldn't be two almost-but-not-quite identical recordings of the same guy reading the same book, right? It's just freaky.

- I am trying to decide between waiting until my hold on Snuff comes in at the library so that I can actually read it first, or spending one of my credits at audible and downloading it tonight. I feel like I ought to read it first and the audiobooks at audible aren't conducive to bedtime listening, but I am impatient. Hmm.
