I get home tonight and dad has chicken wings in the oven but we need a side dish. So I said, "Let's make some corn fritters!" They took about ten minutes total to make, there are six of them (which means two each), and they look pretty awesome. I plan to try mine with plum sauce and honey (separately, not simultaneously).
Maybe this weekend I will make beef-and-bacon-pie.
ETA - Corn fritter are pretty great, especially with honey. I think I would put slightly more salt in next time, though. The recipe makes exactly six, which is pretty perfect as a side dish for three people.
