Working at the library, one gets to experience a wide and varied range of Things Human Beings Smell Like.

I've gotten all kinds of perfume, from old-lady-powdery-floral to exactly the right kind of masculine cologne. I've gotten motor oil, and dirt, and gardening smells. There's one lady who owns a lavender farm and you can smell her down the hallway. I've gotten many kinds of body odor, various and sundry versions of "unwashed", and one lady who always invariably smells of tater-tots.

I think it is the people who come in smelling nauseatingly of smoked pork that worry me the most.

Mmm. That would be one of the more disturbing possibilities. Although some of the various brands of "tobacco enthusiast" are the ones that get me the most.
